Dr. Suchitra Lisam is a public health specialist and health systems researcher, who had obtained master’s degree in public health from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok (Thailand). She is the Head of Research & Knowledge Management at NLR India, an NGO working in the field of leprosy/Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTD). She has more than 30 publications and had published more than 10 papers in peer reviewed journals, co-authored national strategic plans (NSP) for Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, developed and compiled national best practices for National Health Mission (NHM), Global Partnership for Zero Leprosy (GPZL), and contributed in Global Leprosy Strategy (GLS) for World Health Organization (WHO).
